Description
This is a discussion of painted pottery and ceramic figurines found at Neolithic sites in Western Hungary. After considering some general problems of the Hungarian Neolithic, the author traces the development of ceramic art from Early and Middle Neolithic cultures (Starcevo, LBK and Sopot) to the period of later intensification (Lengyel in west and east Transdanubia). The book is in German, and inclides many line-drawings.
